At Leland Rod Co., we are obsessed with only one thing, casting a fly rod as efficiently and effectively as possible. We believe that any fly rod can catch a fish, but not every fly rod is a joy to cast. We also believe the same is true with regard to fly casting. A less than stellar fly cast can still result in a caught fish, but an efficient Master Cast makes for an “earned” fish. In essence, it doesn’t get much better than an efficient cast on a worthy fly rod resulting in a memorable catch! This different approach to casting a fly rod well and catching earned fish is evident in all that we do.
