Wired Body PMD Split Case Nymph
PMDs or Pale Morning Duns are some of the most prolific hatches during the summer months. This pattern is extremely quick to tie, deadly effective, and sure fire to catch your fly fishing friends. This pattern is going to be equally effective fished on a traditional swing with a nymph, off an indicator for dead drift, or tight line euro nymphing. Our go to sizes for this pattern are sz 16-18. We over size the bead on ours, but there is no reason saying that you have to. We enjoy tying flies that not only catch fish, but also other anglers on the water.
