Bear Bay Lodge Fishing:
You can fish most of the great rivers of Bristol Bay from Bear Bay Lodge. The Nushagak, Agulawok, Agulapk, Kokwok, King Salmon, and Wood rivers all are world renowned for all species of fish. Their goal is to utilize the various fisheries while they are in their prime and they access these waters via float plane and jet boat. The Lodge caters to all levels of angling experience and angling styles. They have top-rated guides who are experts with a fly rod.
Bear Bay Lodge Accommodations:
The lodge is located on the shores of Lake Aleknagik along the edge of the 1.6 million acre Wood-Tikchik State Park. There is a large front deck and lounge area that offers a great views of the surrounding Alaska mountains and Aleknagik Lake. Its chalets offer three beautiful bedrooms carpeted and furnished with various designs. Each bedroom has two beds, some with queen size beds for couples, and each of them have private baths. Bear Bay Lodge also has three cabins that will comfortably sleep three to four guests in a more rustic setting. Each cabin offers a private bath and beautiful views of the surrounding area. There is also a hot tub to enjoy along with a favorite beverage before or after inner.
Bear Bay Lodge Travel:
Standard Lodge packages run from Thursday to Thursday. Arriving in the afternoon and departing in the morning. You will need to make your travel arrangements to and from Dillingham, AK. Please let us know if you would like help with this air ticket as the lodge can often secure very competitive pricing from the west coast. A lodge representive will be waiting for you in Dillingham to transfer you to the Lodge.
Travel to Dillingham:
The first leg of travel will be from your hometown to Anchorage, Alaska. Anchorage is served by numerous domestic carriers (Northwest, United, American, Delta, Alaska, America West, Continental, Reno) and several international airlines. Your second leg of travel and final commercial airline destination is Dillingham, Alaska (DLG), 350 miles southwest of Anchorage.
Overnight in Anchorage Some guests, mainly those living in the western United States, may be able to travel from their city of origin to Dillingham in one day. However, the majority of our guests will need an overnight stay in Anchorage.
Make your air travel arrangement as soon as possible, as flights into Anchorage and Dillingham book early. Dillingham is a long way from anywhere so please allow ample time for travel and air connections. Anchorage to Dillingham Your second leg of travel is on Thursday morning to Dillingham via scheduled commercial service on Peninsula Airways (PenAir). Bear Bay Lodge has made arrangements with PenAir to reserve guaranteed space for Bear Bay Lodge guests on pecific, convenient flights at a guaranteed low fare.You may be assured of booking these seats until 14 days prior to your trip dates.
Included:
