Our Bodyspan Elastic is ideal for buzzers, nymphs and lures. A very stretchy colored elastic this can make great nymph bodies. Excellent for nymph bodies and Shell backs.
Using similar techniques as with Nano Silk we extruded thin Polyester strands which were then slightly twisted and had a light amount of wax added to them.
These fluorescent threads glow bright and can also be used make incredible tails with the crinkle from the twists in the thread.
The Spyder thread is a color-fast semi-translucent two twist polyester based fly tyers thread, available in 18/0 30 Denier, has a 15% stretch and has a breaking strain of 14oz 390g.
Fluoro colors as well as Natural tones can match all your tying needs.
Great for bodies!
This new '477' has been specially developed to replicate as close as possible to the classic Sawyer Bug tying wool.
This fly tying material is perfect for wing cases, scud backs, and emerger wings in both caddis and mayfly patterns.
Peeping Caddis wool is just that, a wool which creates caddis bodies. It will can make lots of caddis bodies. Burn the end and it looks just like a caddis used for Hans Van Klinken Peeping Caddis Pattern.
Simply wrap around the hook and add a shellback or wrap the wool as the body, add Semperfli pink straggle string for legs then add a shell back for that stunning effect.
The Semperfli team developed a good Rhyac wool to make tying the Rhyacophila nymphs easy, with this superb wool.
In USA we found Zelon, Z-Yarn etc which we used then searched for our own, hence Shuck Yarn.
