In classic Bahamian style, anglers at Stafford Creek Lodge are typically sight fishing to bonefish from the bow of a poled flats skiff. Catch rates typically range from 2-7 fish per day that average 4-5 pounds, with frequent shots at larger bonefish, as well as occasional shots at tarpon, permit and barracuda. Stafford Creek fishes the nearby waters of Andros’ Northwest shore as well as the Joulter Cays, and the remote waters of the upper West Side when the conditions permit. Anglers fish from maverick Mirage skiffs, complete with poling platforms, 90-140hp Yamaha outboards, and spacious casting decks.
